How It All Started...

Blackline Manufacturing started out of necessity. Back in 1997, owner Tom Black was operating a small screen printing shop in Northern California. To pass the health department inspection, he needed a filter that would trap ink and emulsion solids before the biodegradable chemicals used in the screen cleaning process could go down the waste drain. Tom designed and built the original Filter One, which is still one of Blackline’s top selling products, and soon Blackline Mfg. clean room sales were surpassing those of the screen print shop. Today, Blackline Manufacturing – a division of MTECH, Incorporated – employs 20 people and operates out of a 20,000 square foot shop.

When you purchase screen print clean room products from Blackline Mfg., you’re getting durable, effective and affordable cleaning equipment that has been tested over time.
